Pursuant to Section 104B of the Act, we have DECLINED resource consent RM100877 to take water, but GRANTED all other consents sought, subject to conditions.

Since then 3 parties Nelson Forests Limited, McQueen & Rinsma, Rowe Family Trust have appealed the TDC decision with the Environment Court.

On Wednesday 3rd of October 2012 the Environment held a Call Over meeting to confirm process and set timeframes.

The first week in February has been reserved for Court mediation if required.

All parties informed the Court that private mediation discussions had been held and were planned to be ongoing, with good progress being made.

Everyone was confident of a positive outcome and conclusion before Court mediation is required.

NZ Central Motorsport and Adventure Park are pleased that Nelson Forests Ltd (NFL) are acting as a responsible corporate in considering the community benefits for this project and acting in a positive and co-operative manner.
